Why won't a woman see his true worth? 

Because they're too off-put by him asking them their cup size two seconds after meeting him.  Honestly, if he'd put his hair down (I think he's only done it once in KNT, and I nearly drooled) and keep his mouth shut until he had something meaningful to say, he'd have a chance; he's not bad looking at all.

Priceless combination.

As to Pin, look, I love Pin, really I do.  But as I said in a Kimi ni Todoke thread, friends don't let friends date Pin.

Because wisdom and talking alone doesn't make a good man, action does. And the moment pin recognizes that he actually said something usefull he will boast and be a jerk about it.

One must be pretty thick skinned to stand his "uniqueness". Well after thinking about male leads in other shoujo he isn't that bad a catch. Sometimes I can't help but think that some female leads in shoujo manga are pretty masochistic.
