Admittedly, I didn't bother with this adaptation. Reading the comments made me go find the LN instead. I'll always go for the LN over other adaptations if available.

Good choice. I read the LN first (because I didn't know there was a manhua), which worked out great. And I just decided to skim the manhua and I felt really disappointed. Not only is the content a little twisted, the artwork is pretty subpar and living up to the description in the LN.

Not as bad as this! They even skipped where Meinen first shows up! There is literally so much missing that it's hard to think of it as the same story... oh well it's still fun... :/

Manga (and anime for that matter) adaptations of LN usually butcher things.

So I just finished reading all the translated volumes and my God! This manhua butchers it! There's so much missing and changed it's not even funny! It's probably even worse than 1/2 Prince is... I wonder if it's a Chinese thing? Now about the LN itself, It's awesome! The characters are well thought out and their growth is pretty good to. If there is one complaint I had about it it's that where the author ends his volumes... It's seriously horrible! You can be in the middle of a fight scene and all of a sudden the volume ends :(

I was worried I'd have to read off the blinding white screen so common in light novel translation sites but they actually let you download whole volumes in readable epub format. That is just fucking awesome and I wish other groups that don't have a mobile reading app or a feature to change the color of their sites out of that eye melting white (Which is to say almost all of them) would take their lead. Also, 8 volumes?! Damn wasn't expecting near that much when I clicked on the link

I dunno, it's spoof humor, I enjoy it.

the story seems so forced... Specially that green hair bastard. He isn't even funny and he seems to be the comedy part of the story.

the biggest problem is that I think the MC is such a straight arrow that, it makes the role of "funny man" very out of place.

or maybe he has too many roles, cause he is greedy, manipulative, "funny", all in one character. And it seems more its trying to be a gag manga and just failing hard at it.

I like the general presmise of the story its just honestly he ruins it.

lols this is so bad its good

the manga is not terrible compared to the light novel. The light novel sucks just as bad....

That felt like an EXTREMELY cheap way to give Liola a loss. I mean sure it would get a little boring to see him win every fight.

Spoiler
Thanks for the translation btw.

It's no coincidence that Anise and Lanski look so similar.

Spoiler

the manhwa plot really is weird and rush over... but i can handle it..xD

Ok, I see I am not the only one who realized the weird style of writing this manhua has. It is VERY rushed and hard to swallow especially since the events that take place are thrown one after the other with almost breather or build up. Also the dialogue between characters is TERRIBLY childish. This time being shounen won't be a good excuse for the lack of quality in those fields. I am picky...but this is the first time in a while I feel really annoyed by how badly written a manga can get. The plot setting is decent, I'll give him that, but it's getting gimped by the writing style.

I seriously tot drk dragon is dead......

In case anyone is interested in the LN volume cover art, maybe to compare the different ways the artists imagine them, or just for curiousity:

Spoiler

the artist is crap for this kind of thing and should dump and find someone who can draw final fantasy characters like a pro.

not saying the artist is crap completely its just this kind of story is not is forte if ya know what i mean.

Just what did I just read? Feels like reading chapter 5, 10, 50 and 300 mixed together.

They just jumped soooooo damn much of the LN it isn't even amusing.

This reads like a bad Mary Sue novel...

I don't see how this ever got cleared for a serialization at all.

I don't see it either. if u let me guess, I guess money is involve and they were bribed to clear it...

I was wondering why the light novel seemed so much better than the manga, and I think you figured it out. Yes, the pacing is way too fast.

NOOOOOO!!!  :  (

This shit's getting funnier by the moment. I approve.
