Ryuuko Matoi is a girl who travels with a single red scissor blade, searching for the wielder of the other blade who killed her father. She arrives at Honouji Academy, a high school that lives in fear. It is ruled over by the fearsome student council, led by the student council president, Satsuki Kiryuuin, who use powerful uniforms to crush anyone in their path. After suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of Satsuki, Ryuuko comes accross a possessed school uniform named Senketsu, who puts himself on Ryuuko, granting her special abilities. Teaming up with Senketsu, Ryuuko stands up against Satsuki and the student council to liberate Honnouji Academy from their iron grip and find out the truth behind her father's murder.

Why the heck would Gainax be in charge of this manga??
It's almost sad that scans dropped this series, but I'm not surprised. The manga is vastly inferior; from the very beginning it already ruined Gamagoori's big reveal. The art is "cute", but it lack's Imaishi's energy and has no bite at all. Plus changing Satsuki's long flowing hair into some weird clump shape is just plain doing it wrong. You can barely see her eyebrows!
Roselia scans has dropped this series.
It's a magic outfit that magically adheres to her skin so that nothing ... hrm. Indecent? no. racy? no. inappropriate? no.... at any rate, magical adhesion to skin. Because rule of cool and also censors (...such as they are. >.>; )
I recommend people watch the Anime, the Manga just doesn't do it justice.
If you want to read the Manga fine, but do so after watching the Anime.

This weird drawing style is what reminds me of that..
It got all screwy in the middle and whatnot just like Gurren Lagann.. But ep18 was pretty.. mind boggling.. Can only expect stuff to get more epic.

From the comment, I'm going to assume you're not aware this was done by the people responsible for Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. That knowledge alone should explain everything.

First time when I saw her in awakened Senketsu I thought that there is no way to be more uncovered.
But now I understand how wrong I was then.

Yeah, the anime is better, but I find this quite enjoyable; More material of the characters I like.
I miss the giant screen-covering red kanji that show up every episode. I mean, the gray ones are okay, but it's just not the same.
Uniform? Where I come from that's called underwear for 'special' occasions.
Art isn't great and neither is the story.. Not a big fan of female MC's in this kinda genre.. And WTF is up wit her "goku" outfit? How isn't there any nip-slips with her tits just hanging out?
Nah. Just you! Part of her beauty is the commanding aura she gives off (almost literally). Can't portray that in the manga without her theme. <3
I don't know if this is your first anime or something, but it is a very normal thing for an anime to get a manga adaptation.
