| Description: | The Universal Century began with mankind moving its burgeoning population into outer space. The cluster of colonies furthest from the Earth, Side 3, proclaimed themselves the Principality of Zeon and launched a war of independence against the Earth Federation. Now, it is nearly one year since the war broke out - Universal Century 0079. Federation troops and Zeon forces carry out a fierce battle in the "Thunderbolt Sector" in Side 4 "Mua". The "Thunderbolt Sector" is a shoal zone composed of the debris of destroyed space colonies, named for the electrical discharges from the metal debris. No I think he's right, VizManga bought the rights to do official translations after the anime came out. I think Zeonic dropped it after that to avoid any trouble. So either someone else will have to pick it up where he left off, or we'll have to wait until Viz finally catches up in a year or so and find scans of those.
Raws go up to volume 9 included, but Zeonic has always been pretty slow. Patience young Padawan.

To those who enjoy this manga, do yourselves a favor and watch the December Sky movie. It only adapts the Thunderbolt Sector arc of the story, but it's as amazing as they get.

GMs that blow up after having their head shot, and GMs with Core Block Systems. If you are a hardcore Gundam fan that is likely to be annoyed with canonical inaccuracies, then this might not be for you. Admittedly I did not get beyond the first chapter, but I couldn't manage anymore than that.
The art was good, however.
