Chapter 4, page 13: Gaijin 4Koma reference?

If it was only a bit longer...I mean, the character are all likable. The plot was good, but it was the least for me here. The friendship, the romance, the awkwardness and the action. All top notch.
There was one thing missing though:

it feels like this manga ended sooner then it was planed, the hole pare about the father dieing in 9/11 was easy to see comeing, but I thought it was going to make a story plot point. It's a bit annoying that it got cut, but at least we got a good story out of it.

Yep, that 9/11 and the death of Tinting's father had to be mentioned right at the end (even if only briefly) kinda leaves a bitter aftertaste...
Wait so this was set BEFORE 9/11? So why is Chris and the military all "terrorism" this and "terrorists" that? American's didn't really give a fuck about terrorists until AFTER 9/11. Yea we used the word but the ridiculous use of it to identity anything that is even slightly counter American interests as a "terrorist" started as a direct result of 9/11
