I liked that the guy informs the girl know that liking him only for his appearance is just shallow, and most likely not 'real' love to begin with.
I usually like stories more when the girl takes initiative and is direct because that decreases the misunderstandings and doesn't drag the story before they get together.

Mmm, that was nice. Definitely better than I was expecting. Sweet but with a bit of an ache and a hint of realism.
Chiba Kozue's short stuff is usually pretty good now that I think about it. Not so big on her longer stuff--gave up on "Blue". But her shorter work can be really well done.
