From a story standpoint, it's pretty much the average shoujo. The execution is pretty much the average shoujo.

The only thing I liked about this was the art - but in a graphic design standpoint.

The drawings are sparse, but it makes use of white space better. You can tell the mangaka thought about the Visual appeal of each page, each frame.

Also, certain panels are handled with a different approach. Those panels are handled like a design - it brings visual appeal and adds to the bigger picture - the entire page, rather than a single panel/element by itself.

From a shoujo manga standpoint though, the drawings are so sharp and concise that it almost feels lifeless. It's ok for this oneshot because the female MC is not expressive - so the art doesn't need to convey emotions. The art doesn't need more volume to help flesh out the story.

But idk, with more heavier/angst/drama mangas, I wonder if the art will be enough to carry the story?

But, I suppose books don't need pictures.

So if the story/narration/dialogue is written well enough, these drawings would be sufficient.

For me, this oneshot wasn't written nor executed well enough.

The drawings also feel different to the norm in shoujo manga, so that also adds to the awkwardness while reading this.

Not a terrible manga, it just doesn't have any moments that made me have any feels.

The drawing was a little disjointed, but the plot was nicely done.

He still gonna move school tho... good luck with the whole long distance relationship.... no pun or sarcasm intended here

Nice little one-shot.  Manages a bit more feel for the characters than you can usually manage in the space of a one-shot, and it's warm and fluffy.  And while it's not original, working pretty strictly to classic shoujo romance formula, it manages some cute scenes and a couple unexpected moments.
