I'm not playing KanColle (though I might start), I'm looking to read more KanColle manga with Shiranui in that particular style.^^
Yes, the anthology chapters are all separate and have no effect on each other. Chapters done by the same artist over different volumes may have the same continuity but it matters little since all the stories are still stand-alone. As for where you can get Shiranui and company, see:

Hey, being kinda new to this KanColle stuff, I'd like some pointers please. As I take it, it doesn't matter that there are several chapters missing throughout, because each one is it's own story, right?
Also, where can I find more of the Vol.5 Ch.10 girls? Shiranui and the others. I especially like their style.
