Im just glad I didnt read this when it wasnt finished.
I wouldnt have been able to stand waiting in between chapters with the whole Takeda dating Hasuse thing.
It's a fantastic manga. The pacing was wonderful and the ending was satisfying. The art was fantastic and the characters are super likeable. To me. It's a 10/10 manga.
It says there is a new story for it, anyone have any idea the comic title??
Mmmhh... It was kind of below my expectation. I didn't really like the pacing at all. Nevermind the fact that I'm not a big fan of series where it's just a one-sided crush until the very very end, this one kind of felt like it wasn't going anywhere at all until the very last volume, and the ending was pretty poor. Oh well. The art was nice though. I'd read more from this author on the hopes of an improvement, certainly.
Just finished reading - I think the pace is just right - for a 2008 manga this is just perfect - dense male lead is pretty much the default back then. Loved the art as well. Our tastes might have changed since then but if I was reading this in 2008 this is perfect.
BUT weird ending is weird.

Not the greatest manga out there, but good enough to be a nice read. I gotta point out, I've never seen a lesbian pictured in such a natural way as the mangaka did with Tokiwa, very touching I must say.

I understand what you mean. The mangaka didn't really show the building feelings for the male MC. I like to think that he had always had a passing interest in her, but it started to turn into love when she hugged him while she had a fever.

for the series its good.... the ending did seem out of nowhere as there wasnt enough feels for the male mc to let us know that he likes her it just seems bam.... like that...
and for the glasses girl there seems to be problem with her she should get counseling
I just read the final volume. Haha that was a cute way to wrap up everything. Good for you Hinako, it turns out that all your efforts paid off!! It did feel a bit rushed, but it is what it is. Too bad we don't get to see her actually trying to be a "Perfect Girlfriend" as the title states. Truth be told, I would have been fine with a yuri ending too, but this ending meets my expectations as well. It certainly redeemed Takeda in my eyes.
Does anyone know of any other manga like this? Not a shonen harem manga, or a frumpy shoujo x bishounen manga, but one like this from the girl's pov? It might be one of a kind.
He reminds me of a certain unlucky Level 0. In both looks and finesse with girls.

Well, it ended well.
Although I need to reevaluate how seriously I took this after such a non-chalant reveal of why glasses did what she did.
Seriously, Tokiwa and Hinako had to suffer so much over that?
Guess it reflects middle-school love a little too accurately for my liking, if anything.

Now, I know the male protagonist is denser than a neutron star when it comes to noticing a girl's feelings... but give the guy credit, folks. He's a middle-schooler. He doesn't really know the ins or outs of love. I don't think most middle schoolers are supposed to know about how to handle relationships. I'd say, judging from having read the whole thing, he's done a pretty creditable job considering the situation.
Plus, he knows what to do and what to say when it counts.
