Kanojo to Kanojo no Renai

I'm surprised by how much I like these oneshots.


They were well developed, given it was only a chapter for each story.


Chapter 1 had very little romance but somehow it kept me invested. It has to be because the mangaka did a good job with the premise and execution.


The art is definitely older, but tolerable.



Chapter 3 was probably the one that could use another chapter, as issues could be addressed more. The romance didn't work for me, but overall not a bad chapter.


Chapter 2 also needed another chapter, as I think you can't get over an ex-gf with only 3 months. I wanted to see more of them going back and forth, and the ending was a little too convenient.



I liked chapter 4, I though it had really positive self-esteem advice and overall liked this a lot. I can relate to the female MC, though people's reactions to her height seem exaggerated.



I recommend this collection of oneshots. You probably won't find much better ones out there.

I don't get the title to No. 4. Why "forehead"? She doesn't even have an exposed forehead...

Ha! Ch. 1 finally arrives and the best was saved for last. It's great! It's satisfying, it's different--even different in structure, 'cause while there's a love plot of sorts it's actually a subplot relative to the main friendship plot--I love the message, both overt and subtext-y, and the heroine is sweet and a bit insecure but kicks ass.
This one is hitting my favourites list.
Those who know me will be amazed that even though the main relationship is between two girls, I don't even wish for it to turn yuri; it suits too well as what it is.

Ch.2 - 6/10

Ch.3 - 7.6/10

Ch.4 - 6.5/10

OK, liked ch 3, didn't like ch 4 that much.  The basis is fine, but there was stuff about the execution that annoyed me.

Aww I can't wait for the first chapter now!

Sweeet story about a really nice girl, with bittersweet hurty bits.  Good solid oneshot. 

(That's ch 2 which is what I'm seeing so far; can't vouch for any future chapters)
