Agree with PLG. At first I had trouble imagining why someone would be bothered with a sword shop being part of the cafe. I would find it fascinating and a really great opportunity to learn more about them. Of course, that may just be me, as my niece is uncomfortable in my home because I own several firearms, and she has grown up in a "guns are bad" atmosphere, both at home and at school. I spent 22 years in the military, being intimately familiar with weapons, but to her, the fact that I possess them seems to put me into a different category, like some kind of "us and them," as though I went armed everywhere I go looking for someone to shoot. I also have a ceramic Thai "demon mask" made by my sister in my house. This made my neighbor think that I was some sort of occult fanatic, and she probably lives in daily expectation of me sacrificing a goat or something similar. My guess is that, due to education and upbringing, people react really differently to things that we don't perceive as hot buttons.
Mango Scans also has the second chapter of this series translated and on their website reader if anyone is interested.
hehehe If there was.
This is great! I hope there's more.
But there's one thing--it shows customers for the coffee shop part being disturbed by the sword shop part, with all its swords and armour and gargoyle-like medieval Japanese figures. What is their problem?! So cool, if there were a cafe like that where I live I'd want to go there all the time.
I disagree. :< It was a nice little read.
shounen? or maybe shoune ai? ,...........
