Not a great example of the genre in my opinion. Pretty much all of the characters at one time or another act like complete, petty jackasses. Especially the main character. I felt for her in the first chapter but she became so spiteful I basically stopped caring about her. There was also a lack of realism that was a big turn off. Lots of nameless plot device cliche characters randomly showing up to remind the mc that she's ugly... even though she's a model of some kind now. Yeah...
Reader beware, avoid this one.
Fluffy. Predictability is complete. But I have a soft spot for "Was a chubby girl" stories if they don't totally devalue the "before" version.
Although, my favourite overweight character is in Nanaco Robin (by Nakahara Aya, of Love-Com fame). She's a secondary character, but she should have her own show and never lose weight. "The next time you call me fatty, I'll spread rumours that you're living with a little girl."
Anyway, it sure is cliche.
