At first I thought the insipid comment didn't make sense, but after reading the manga, I have to agree.

There's very little personality wise for both the leads.

This is a problem for a lot of mangas.

when you have an expressionless capable female president, who is slow/dense with emotions, and the guy who has 2 expressions depending on how the girl treats him, there's nothing stimulating going on.

Even when they kiss or get together, I didn't feel anything or care.

The manga isn't the worst, but it's lacking.

The oneshot is only better because the brother 'spiced' things up.

They need self-raising flour to make cake? And somehow plain flour doesn't work?

That's some low-level Google-fu I just witnessed. >.>

I don't mind cliche but this is just insipid.

Honestly, I no longer consider any shoujo that has a female lead that is in any way exceptional to be cliche, no matter how normal the plot is. They're becoming so rare, buried beneath the mountain of "completely normal girl snags total hunk" piles of crap, that each new one feels like a breath of fresh air.

It's sad really.

The translation is done very poorly, sometimes it's really hard to understand.

where? i saw a small mistake on pg7 and a missplaced "not" on page 12 but overall it´s quite good, i can´t compare it to the original text but there are no places where i´m unable to get the correct meaning so i think there is no real reason to complain about it if you can´t do it better ...if you can, why don´t you?

It's generally understandable with exception to a few scenes.
I like the series, it's very tantilizing...<3
