How so?

I liked this almost more than yumekui in all honestly. Imo the characters in yumekui aren't as interesting as some of the ones in here, and I find the darker tone in this one a more compelling complement to the mystery aspect than the slapstick of the original. For sure I enjoyed the action more, it scratched an itch for violence that I didn't know I had.

I like Wiles, as he seems to be a fan of nature. The true villain in the series is actually not him, but the appalling education system of the dream world. How would a young nightmare know how to make it over to the real world, or the consequences of his/her/its actions? Without a proper system they can never hope to stop the wave of criminals arising from the dream world. Wiles was not a criminal, but only a victim of this horrible system. We must get together and reform this outdated system, or else more tradgedies will happen. PS. This series was okay. It was good for its length, but with a rather mixed cast. Only the nightmares had fun personalities, while the humans were rather boring. And yes, I was a bit bored when I wrote this

I dunno about that. It'd be 90% confusing to anyone who isn't familiar with the setting/plot of Yumekui.

Dang. This spin-off does a good job of getting a good horror vibe running at times. Merry can end up looking surprisingly creepy and sinister.

Kagefumi talks about her other vessel, I think she is talking about Yumeji there. Though he is not really her vessel, but maybe the translator can shed some light on it. Demo, please show up from time to time.

That's all the information it gives. Once would assume this means that the other nightmares believe the real Merry crossed over the way they did, and the doppelganger believes the same.

Yaaaay, editing is happening, 2 years after I finished the script for the whole volume! But it's not bad for a spinoff, so I'm sure plenty of Potatoers will enjoy it.
