Was the parrot in the anime? Were new story plots just revealed to us in this alternate viewing format in the guise of the colorless king's psychosis!?
Or am I just a forgetful silly-billy and all of this was in the anime?
I'm so happy I found this! I really enjoyed the anime, you could really feel how much effort was put into it. The action sequences were just so smooth and crisp, and the pacing of everything was great. I honestly can't stand most anime people recommend me because even if the story is good the overuse of the same damn scenes over and over, scrolling slowly over a still while a mouth flap moves drives me absolutely nuts!
This on the other hand was truly beautiful. The plot was a bit confusing at points, and it really makes you work to understand things; not a mindless watch. I wish parts had been clearer, and I thing the ending felt unfinished. So a sequel would be very welcome. In anycase, I enjoyed watching every minute, so don't believe all the naysayers. Excited to read this now!
manga and anime has their own different charm. so I'm going to re-watch the anime and read this.
ha ha! This has been fun following the story again, this time in manga format.
So you compare 1 bad anime to a worse one to try and prove said anime isnt bad.The anime was shit regardless if you liked it or not,regardless if there are worse anime,regardless of any other excuse you make think of. So, fuck you and the people who liked your comment! ..l.,
the manga is a bit different from the anime (for example the colorless king wearing the fox mask in this but didnt wear it in the anime), and it feels like they're skipping a few parts, not that they're really that important though its mostly just fanservice stuff they're leaving out i think lol. oh well, i like the anime better but this is pretty good too.
The several manga and K novels are made to compliment the anime. Yes, the anime does not explain all so I suggest that you read the manga (this one and the others). Sadly the novels is in Japanese only atm.

Nah, fuck you. I liked that crap, it got good music, animation and action scenes.
You know whats bad? Go and watch shit like shikabame hime, koi koi 7, eiken, yumeria, zombie loan or green green.
The anime was just lousy crap with random semi-gay characters and no story. People who didn't weep tears of blood (because that's how bad it was) from this deserve a praise...

Never, they confirmed that instead of a second season that K will be getting an manga adaptation (This) and a movie. Which sucks because while the anime wasn't great at explaining things it did have so much potential.
So this manga is the mind screwdriver. When will the second season start, anyway?
I hope it has better story flow and more content
