I love this manga/manhua! The only thing is that sometimes I feel really difficult to follow the plot because the names are complex and long and I get lost into who-is-who.

The bits of drama are cool and the MC is so sweet. Altough some things, as other comments say is that the main character male is too perfect:/ and some things about the game are a bit unrealistic like the beauty ranks and so.

For those who haven't read the novels, Ch 24 page 12 is a lot funnier(and makes a little more sense) when you translate the names.  BuChuan KuKu Hao LiangShuang- I don't remember what it translates to, but it's something along the lines of not wearing any underwear.  Which is why the next user comments what he does.

I love how they combined the two issues into one so they could progress with the story. In the drama while Niahe was trying to find WeiWei she just prepped for her exams.
Where as here, shes dealing with that clan betrayal issue.
The Drama was great btw LoveO2O is the name. The corresponding movie is ok too. But the plots abit different.

Trying to

Spoiler
after he cheated for the purpose of pleasing his new lady...I'd be mad if she wasn't mad in response to that. Time for her new hubby or her to put the fear in her ex.

I'm pretty sure the musician was supposed to say, "I'd rather (her) die than let her live to hate me."  on page 8 of chapter 21 and page 8 of chapter 20.  It is the same scene, once in the video and once the MC is recalling it.

On chapter 21 page 8 it is translated to, "I'd rather die than let her live and hate me."

On chapter 20 page 8 it is translated to, "Instead of letting her live to hate me, it's better to die."

In both cases, I'm pretty sure he is referring to 'her' death, rather than his, but the translation makes it seem ambiguous, more like he is talking about his death.

Also, page 8 of chapter 20, has another line, 'you cannot kill her' --- should be more like, 'you didn't have to kill her'  (obviously he can and did kill her, so....)

I read the full translation. I like the wish fulfilment romance... but disappointed with character and relationship development. Still though, lots of petty drama that was interesting.

I really hope we'll get the whole thing. It ruins the flow to learn it in spurts.

You can find it on novelupdates.com. It's fully translated there.

Someone was kind enough to send me the link. It is quite good - although the ending was a little less than Inexpected- srill good reguardless. I don't mind reading this manhua wven if it isn't as good.

Is there anywhere I can find this?

It's so sad they only talked about what happened, instead of showing it. Both series and the movie did much better job in this part. Here we only got talking heads.

I've never been one of "those people" before, but I read the novel translations for this, and honestly it really is a lot better. It explains a lot more and the pacing is better, this feels so rushed with so much of the nuance left out.

> (...) how miserable one has to be (...) who cares (...) I never saw (...)

Ultimately you have two options - you can enjoy the story with other people or not. The choice is yours.

I've read the light novel, seen the drama and the movie.. I'm just waiting for the manhua right now ^^v

But they make beauty rankings for characters, don't they? (I may be wrong though)

This game has a ranking for real life female players (which, I still believe, is maintained unofficially).

That's why people make such a halo - the guy divorced a character who is believed to be a male player and married a character who is said to be the biggest beauty in real life among female players.

I get it that this is how it works in this story, but unfortunately this story is set in the real world and as a MMO player this stuff still makes no sense for me. How miserable does one have to be that one thinks that a MMO marriage holds anything of value let alone is something important. Who cares if the online wife is a real beauty in RL. She still isn't your wife or your gf. Its just a formality matter and I never saw people making so much jazz around online marriages and what players look like in real life.

Maybe it would have worked better for me if it the setting would have been in the future with VR elements where MMOs have a lot of influence on RL.

tons of MMO's that have a lot of cosmetic options do this. vindictus, black desert online, etc

I was under the impression that this ranking is not an official one. F.e. managed by message board users.

I don't get it? I know that marriages in an MMORPG have certain benefits but how comes that the top players are treated like starts? Or like you are chatting with your spouse or have to chat with the spouse and exchange photos? Or at least pin your rl photo to your profile? Who....just who does that? Is this an Asian MMORPG community thing?

From my experience, the mmorpg portrayed here has certain features/qualities which are either exaggerated or more developed than the games we have. For example, I have yet to see a game that hold a beauty ranking of its players or a wedding that becomes major news. Additionally this setting seems to presume most players play as their own gender, this isn't really the case in reality. There is often an abundance of female characters but I would wager that at least half (probably more)are played by men.

That said there is something to certain players having popular status. Members of prestigious guilds and primarily those who become renowned on pvp can gain a measure of fame. I've seen in some games where there are in world statues in the likeness of current player champions. Also in highly popularized games, top tier players can even get sponsors and be signed up to competitive teams that participate in large scale tournaments, which of course add to their fame. Its like with any other hobby be it sports or arts, etc., those who are invested in such things will often admire those who have proven a measure of skill in that field. That and top tier players always have gear and items that make them look boss LOL.

It depends on the situation! I've never played a MMO with marriage-related perks, but I've seen plenty of MMOs without any benefits where players still marry each other. And it's usually not players that already knew each other in real life, but players who spend a lot of time together in-game, start talking about offline stuff, develop a real relationship, etc. I mean, sometimes it's just roleplaying and there's no emotional investment, but usually there's a "more than friends" vibe between the couple.

I know a girl who got married in real life to a guy she met on Evercrack . . . uh, Everquest.

If only the hero wasn't such a Marty Stu (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MartyStu) ...

Well since I read the novel for the female lead I could still enjoy this little story.

For those who want to give it a try just do it. Its rather short.

Dammit, the heroine is supposed to be busty!

Somehow in the next chapter she got bustier :P

Thanks to reading the first chapter here, I ended up binge watching the drama and movie, then read the novel. It's been over a decade since I watched a Chinese drama, and this has just sucked me back into that dangerous world (I am SO short on sleep now!)  >_<  I'm so glad that it's a manhua too - I prefer seeing them as drawn characters rather than live action (though I'm sad that the chapters are so short!). Most of the drama and movie actors didn't match my image of the characters, and it was weird that they kept referring to Wei Wei as being busty/curvy in the drama when the actress clearly was not. However, the drama was a refreshing change from the usual super angsty romances with misunderstandings and rivals everywhere, and I do recommend watching (it goes by the title Love O2O).  I admire Wei Wei as a female lead, since she is straightforward and honest with people and deals with problems head on.

Hmmm, are do all of these have the same target audience? Well, I didn't realize the drama was a big thing, now I kinda want to look both of those up too....

I am enjoying this so far.

Yes, more or less josei , but a guy will have fun too.

Drama is very nice and available in HD with subtitles. There's also a movie, pretty weird and rushed (and with less characters), but it has some funny scenes that were different from what happened in the drama so I enjoyed it. I have no idea which of them is closer to the novel though. Will have to read it one day.

Just finished reading the novel and marathoned the drama, now came the manhua...

\^^/

yatta~~!
