I find it interesting how is it that everysingle time when a woman KNOWS that a man is an assasin, a cop, a soldier or someone that is related to killing as a profession, they always run scared and distrust those that they "loved" when they see their "loved ones" perform the very same tasks they already knew about it.
He's a shogun samurai.-.... he kills people, did you expect him to smile and be gentle and pacifist about it? Killing is gore and no one dies "with dignity" (quoting house: you cough, you babble, you loose sphinter tone meaning you pee and your crap yourself, there is no dignity in that)

At least, that's what I would do with a story like this, I guess? Maybe that whole ancient China romance subplot was just a minor diversion and doesn't actually matter, but that seems like it'd be a bit of a waste. Interested to see what happens, in any case.
