If she learned kendo when she was only 5 years old, how the heck she doesn't even know how to hold the sword properly?!
Also her characterization seem to be all over the place.
I did like the ending though, it was cute.
But her characterization made it weird since she blushes from close contact, but has no problem with taking initiative for a kiss.
At times she's tsundere, then she's all fierce standing up for people, then she seems all bright and cute, then she blushes from just close proximity, then takes initiative in a kiss.
The male MC had very little to do or act.
I feel this oneshot had potential. if the mangaka could focus on not going overboard with the characterization and plan the transitions of plot better.
I still want this to be a short series. It's too cute to be only a one shot.
Short and nice. There should be more girls like this in manga. I really don't like her name though.
Because she's tiny and cute she reminds me (physically) of Taiga. But she's sincere, not shy and tsundere, so personality wise, not so much. A fun read, not taking much of your time, so- recommended.
Wasn't it the trend these days to hesitate until like the 30th chapter just for a kiss?
Dunno what Madhax was reading. If you're going to be bothered by that little of stereotype you shouldn't be reading shoujo romances--certainly not shoujo oneshots.
Any shoujo with a girl who works hard at kendo in the first place isn't that bad stereotype-wise. If on top of it she is neither awesome nor completely hopeless, we're already getting fairly unusual. If we add in that she spends relatively little time agonizing about whether she's in love, well!
The plot's normal enough, to be sure.
I thought it was pretty cute and I liked both leads, especially the girl.
Reading through to the last page was worth the awkward story progression.
Wow. It's so stereotypical it hurts to read.
