Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari

Looking at this having already ended at only 2 volumes, 13 chapters total, in 2010...meanwhile it's [current year], 6 years later, feeling like forever to finish. Thanks anyway Citrus Project and Nanaten.

Smart of them to point out that this is a Tenchi Muyo! spin off with the localized title. Most people don't seem to notice the connection. The original series was rushed and it's production was affected by horribly mismanaged distribution so we never got a 2nd season even though there were still so many loose ends and the series was well received. I get the feeling they want to go further with the plot than the anime, so they're condensing the early scenes that were covered in detail already.

 

That's being generous. The direction isn't great. Tonally it feels closer to the Tenchi manga than any of the OVAs. It's hard to follow and the disjointed translation is only making it harder. Really need a quality checker. There's basic English syntax and spelling that is wrong and direct translations that come off as very unnatural. The translator got a couple names wrong which is really confusing because he's using all the clunky dub terminology. Though he is improving. By chapter 5 the clunkiness is much improved and the characters' unique dialects and personalities are conveyed better. I hope he continues to polish his English.

I don't really get this sentiment when some translators will just go to an imageboard and post the raws with their first draft translation as soon as they get them, and within an hour, a dozen people will have corrected any grammatical errors, offered better translations, and explained any references. Of course we all learn at our own pace, so I can appreciate what he's doing.

that's really the only appearing of yukine wow thats sad. she had the most teasing moments with kenchi

One of my favourite anime series, made even better that its linked to Tenchi Muyo and Tenchi Muyo GXP. All the episodes are free to watch on youtube Funimation channel as well.

As for everyone who have watched the anime and wanting there has been no know proof that there will be more episodes of the anime However I seriously doubt that they are stopping since that the last part with the broken eye gem with the her boy that was a big cliff hanger Another reason in being that they will continue this is that this show has been going on since 1993 or 1994 which ever is enough to say last episode was 2010 or 2011 from the last series being around 2007 a 3-4 years apart it very likely they will continue with the series since it's been around for so long. Heck he probably might end up meeting seina who knows There are a few unanswered questions about this show which they may end up wrapping up And perhaps bring in some of the cast from tenchi muyo since people will pay money yo purchase thus great quality story. I strongly believe they will continue this into kenchi's becoming of age time.
