Its somehow reminiscent of "Mysterious X Girlfriend"
For anyone watched and read the anime or LN, is this really going to turn into the 'no-plot genre'? Cause I'm not really a fan of slice of life / 4-koma pacing, so I'd like to know beforehand if this will suit my taste. I like the premise with death and mysterious things happening around the mc, seems possible for a serious plot development. But I had a feeling from your comments this will turn into just random gags (and not a funny one at that), so.. spoiler anyone?

Well, to her credit...
....hmm I'll reserve judgement on this one... right now I'm feeling a bit annoyed at the female "protagonist" ...Evil bitches that mistreat animals deserve punishment. To top it off he took a shotgun blast to the face and died... and this is how the divinities "reward" him? God must be a jerkass.
Please keep the anime (which is based off the light-novel) vs. manga serie criticisms off the comment section.

Even though the artwork is quite outstanding, there's plenty other fiche in the sea.
I'm curious about the manga. For some reason the anime makes me think of Galaxy Angel where the anime is so random and nothing at all like the manga.
I on the other hand loved the anime and LN so I shall thumbs it up if we're going to base it in the other forms of media rather than the manga itself.
