Those kids have Teutonic order flag not Templar... They were created in 12th century so that symbol would be known already, author could at least read more books about Medieval Europe before writing this kind of story.
Amount of errors that this manga contains if enormous. Plot is quite typical for such story, characters are flat and used only for author's convenience.
