Thank you so much! I'm really happy to help out with this series, even if the contents of it sincerely gross me out most of the time. High8sky deserves the most praise though. Their redraws on this series are mind blowing, and we could not complete these scans without their help. I'm still amazed every time I see a spread page since the gap has to be redrawn. Not to mentiont he absurd amount of text on top of artwork.
Yeah, great job releasing this unconventional masterpiece. Every few months this series gets a batch update, and I'm reminded what this artistic medium is capable of.

I stopped caring about hystorical accuracy when I learned that Damiens (the guy who tried to kill Louis XV) had a doughter (not a son) that was banished along with his (not dead) wife and father from France. Now I'm here just to enjoy the ride. *shrugs*
*cocks head* The Enrage weren't a thing until they basically triggered the Reign of Terror in 1792, after the Girondins tried to mount an attempt to either exile or imprison the king for life. THEY were the ones who led the sans coullotte in Paris, not the rural peasantry. I can enjoy this manga for being a sensationalist soap opera version of the first French Revolution, but I do get twitchy when they assign factions responsibility for things they weren't around for.
And Marat can burn in Hell for all I care - CHARLOTTE DID NOTHING WRONG.
Also, is Lafayette going to be a thing in this manga? I know there was only passing reference to the American Revolution in this chapter, but his rise and fall in the early stages of the first French Revolution are both fascinating and tragic. Also, I feel a spiritual debt to him and what he did for the United States.
