I guess the theme of turning into a monster is there, but the same could be said plenty of other stories. Apart from that, they don't seem similar at all.
I'm not really getting a Parasyte vibe anymore. The body-morphers are just mindless monsters now, and the tone is generally less... idealistic? I'm not sure what the right word is, but it never really felt that that the main characters in Parasyte would wind up becoming monsters. So this is going down a completely different path. That's good, I guess? I just hope that this path doesn't lead to the edge of a cliff...

Hopefully, they go the Parasyte route where the main heroine doesn't die.
So I'm guessing he got infected by a strain of whatever-it-is that eats the other infected people(who in turn eat humans). I guess it manifests as some kind of alternate personality?

This webtoon feels a little predictable, though that isn't too much of a problem. Otherwise it seems like a good horror story in the same vein as "Parasyte" (minus the charismatic sidekick).
