What's with this author and his infuriating MC
I think it's the latter, but from the perspective of "I'm not a good enough writer compared to her, so I not deserve someone like her."
100,000 isn't that much... My fanfics got that as well, and then some. (of course, my strong genres appear to be fantasy, sci-fi and, strangely, yuri)
Two writers getting together is an absolute DISASTER! Almost all of us are the worst procrastinators and we detach from reality too easily. We need an anchor to drag us back to reality or we'd waste away to spin tales of the fantastical worlds that breed within our heads like rabbits. (hence why we call them plot bunnies)
I second that. The new girl is trendy and compliments Nayu a lot. Sadly, she used to be what I call an 'abused doll character,' and it was the perverted siscon who brought her out of it.
And why the hell does this new girl (probably) like the MC?! I suggest that the pretty boy little brother gets both girls while his useless slug of a brother becomes a hikki-NEET.
After chapter 2, screw the MC (he has his trap little bro afterall); Yuri route all the way!

I couldn't tell if it was because she was a better writer or that her tastes were more extreme than his. If it's the former, that's awfully petty.
So read this again and notice if the guy actualy rejected her cause he ain't interested or is it because she was better at him in writing?

Someone needs to slap this guy a couple times. That girl is probably the ONLY girl who will ever bother with a sis-con loser like him, so this is not the time to be picky.
Besides, if she meets his little brother, all bets are off and she'll go for the better of the two. The choice is obvious: a perverted idiot with barely mediocre writing talent and a little sister fetish or a capable, smart and possibly popular guy. A girl would need all her screws loose to choose the loser over the capable brother.
