No, sorry, Chou Tensei's translation is Jap>English translation xD If you bothered to take a look at it, you would have seen it's different translator. I'm the Spanish translator but I only proofread the english version.
And well, I agree the story is a bit dissapointing, but the art is great. Yes, they are shitty scans, we don't have raw cleaner and we use Chinese scans... But this mangaka's drawings are awesome, just look Nuramago or the new OneShot drawn by him, "cremater", which we also translated.
You're seeing shitty raws and a sub-par translation. The art is actually above average for Shuukan. I can't say anything about the original writing.... If you think the general plot direction is bad, then I concede, but if it's anything else then blame the Japanese->russian->english and Japanese->spanish->english translations. As far as plot direction goes, that's the reason it was axed so young....
interesting concept, but pretty poor execution.

I am the main translator of Choutensei and im planning on continuing the English version once we've translated the chapters 11 and 12 in spanish and starting to release in english and spanish.

As AxL said in an earlier chapter, someone came in and destroyed the clan. So they would be endangered due to one person or group, not due to the entire human species.
Low birth rate? Wars between vampires? Being ganged by all other monsters + humans? It'll probably be explained so let's wait for it!

They escaped in an SUV, fantastic, reminds me of the escape from shinra in FFVII.

WSJ is actually doing better than they did in many, many years XD Still though, it is the readers who make a series end as they are the ones who vote for which series are to survive and which are not to survive.
In any case, I am a big Hiroshi fan, but IR was really not his finest works and even he himself did not seem too enthusiastic about it.
Once again something great ended by jump. If they are wondering why their industry is hurting it is only because of themselves. I'm sure in another universe this progressed nicely and ended very well.
