I'm curious as to exactly why Batoto doesn't allow mature content? And perhaps why they don't just put a restriction like age lock on the mature content instead of just preventing uploads.

At the very least, when a series gets locked, they should at least put up the last known scanlator for the series so I can go read it from their site.

Why don't they have it to be a subtle filter? only registered users over 18 verified can access mature content? And it would not be evident anywhere, so it would be a more under the table kind of thing? Like if you're not registered, no access, and only if you are registered as over 18 then you may get access... Idk just an idea...
