your wish has been granted
Thank God that this juvenile shit was discontinued.
This ending...
Such a shame it was axed. Who was the publisher ?
aw maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
It's a shame this was axed. I really did like this series. I didn't even realize this was the same artist who does Kaguya until I looked it up, despite the really close similarities in style. Gives me hope that they actually will be able to finish this some day, rather than just being a wish of theirs.
What the... Oh wow. It's been a while since I read this, how did it get back in Highest Rated?
That ending, though.
It's a good day when two of Akasaka Aka's series are in the top rated, if only temporarily.
The afterwords are saying " fuck this industry"
Is kinda sad when something doesn't sell well they just stop it, Is like saying fuck the artist feelings or opinions...
I was expecting a series about a little girl in a deranged museum exhibit, was pleasantly surprised.
I thought it was a fine ending.
I think that afterword was more depressing than the end of this manga could ever be. Hot damn, I hope he finishes this story.
This is a great manga that suffers from a rushed ending. It feels like in certain places it feels like someone ripped a few pages here and there out of the manga. But that doesn't make it a bad manga, it's still really good, but I could not finish the last few chapters because it felt like the rush job ruined an otherwise amazing manga.
I would recommend the author's ongoing work (as far as I know) Kagura Wants to be Confessed to.
The story ended up 'breaking down' in such a way where some things just doesn't seem to add up and it was all rushed. Somehow I still enjoyed the story, mostly due to the Ib concept it introduced... But I believe it can be improved, and I guess the author of this story felt the same way. I hope that this one does end up being known as a 'test drive' for an Ib: Instant Bullet series the author remakes in the future
well, that was edgy but interesting
CRAWLING MY SKIN!!!!!!!
Good news, they're doing pretty damn well for themselves right now haha http://vatoto.com/comic/_/comics/kaguya-wants-to-be-confessed-to-the-geniuses-war-of-love-and-brains-r17274
F@ck it. I hope the author goes big. Like f@cking real big, to the point people starts to think he shits talent, so he can finally make the story like he wanted to be, and not this maimed chimera he was forced to develop. Ib's not done yet, and this is not the end.
Akasaka Aka, I pray to see your triumphant return to this story.
So damn emo, but I like it. Except the MC, what hell does he have to be so emo about?
Commenting after reading chapter 5: My thoughts while reading her determinism explanation "The only way to combine determinism with predictions that can't influence the future is if the prophecy gets taken into account and your actions in response to it result in that future (I don't mean "you cause it by trying to prevent it" just that if you are trying to prevent it you will act in a way that results in the predicted future). Then trivial prophecy you could easily change are impossible (like "I see I will arrive at 5:30 so I will wait 5 minutes longer") or you can only make them if you won't change them"
Of course there is the alternative where you can predict everything but if you try to interfere everything conspires to keep you from succeeding. But the world bending over backwards has little to do with determinism, that has more to do with destiny/fate. But her hand cramping up sounds like they took that route but if you do that why the talk about determinism instead of saying the future is fated and can't be changed? Determinism = "there is only one future because the same event will always lead to the same result" it doesn't limit your actions, your actions are just predictable.
So if say you set up a game the other (and if you want to remove the human factor write some simple code) is supposed to say blue if you say red and red if you say blue. Then you predict what word they will say and say it. The only thing compatible with a determinism explanation would be that you can't predict it if they don't say the same thing as you for some reason (to fuck with you or something). If you can always predict it and it just always leads to the result you predicted despite being set up so that it shouldn't then that isn't just the world following deterministic rules. Because the game repeatedly failing has no real physical reason. [/rant] Maybe I'm misjudging it and her powers are limited in a way where it would make sense.
What is the contradiction?
If it is the number of time she can use her power, it is used twice in the story and in the and she says she will pop 2/3 time more adding up ti 4/5 times so no cantradiction here.
I have been reading this on and off since the first chapter was released here, and just now had the chance to see it all end, sort of. This author has seriously won me over, and whatever they write next I will read (and try to get a physical copy of, though that is expensive in Sweden). God, I want to write something grand to tie this all up. However, I am currently a little bit overwhelmed, guess you feel like this whenever something you really liked ends.
Still, an unfinished comment might suit this manga.
