Description: Oreki Houtarou is an "energy-saver" kind of guy, who expends as little energy as possible to do only things he has to. When he starts high school, his older sister sends him a letter asking him to join the Classics Club. The club meant a lot to her, and its number of members has been reduced to zero.

Houtarou reluctantly signs up for the club, only to find that someone else has joined, too! She's Chitanda Eru, a cute, big-eyed girl with an overwhelming sense of curiosity. A mystery crops up that catches Eru's interest, and also draws in Houtarou's friend, Fukube Satoshi. They continue solving mundane mysteries together, and soon they draw in Satoshi and Houtarou's friend, Ibara Mayaka, as well. Mayaka has had a blatant crush on Satoshi since middle school, but he always fends off her advances. Together, they search for the truth in a mystery that involves the history of the Classics Club.

Thank you for getting up to this chapter. "Hyouka" is a great franchise, but this arc is the most poignant of all of that I've read/watched of the story so far, and it was also technically a masterpiece of translation. The original japanese can be a bit obscure with that sacrifice/victim/scapegoat ambiguity, but the english text is clear and concise with just that footnote which didn't even require a bunch of paragraphs tacked in an extra page at the end of the chapter to explain cultural differences. Really, great job.

that footnote was so great. I felt like reading an official translation, I could give this to someone who knows nothing of Japanese culture and he/she would get the point. Amazing job indeed

WOW, can't believe someone is doing Hyouka!

Thank you Raw Crossing for resuming this series.

Raw Crossing, thanks for chapter 9.  It was really good (and so was the translation and grammar).  I'm really enjoying this series, and hoping for more.  Great plot and characters!

Happy New Year 2018, folks!

That's a new chapter for ya

Enjoy!

IT. LIVES.

Really glad to see this chapter, and thank you, Raw Crossing.  Coincidentally, I received an e-mail add from Amazon yesterday that offered the dvd set of the anime for this story.  It made me wish that I had more of the manga to read.  Today, I went on Batoto, and here was chapter 8.  I am more than pleased.

It would appear that Raw Crossing has picked up the torch, so to speak.  Thanks for their work.

Now if you'll all excuse me, I'm going to treat myself to some delicious ice-cream to celebrate a new chapter.

I see what you did there.

Also, thank you so much Raw Crossing, really. It's one of my favourite series

Thanks for picking this up. It's a real gem

Roselia scans has dropped this series.

Bummer.

Artpoint seriyi bırakacak.

Roselia scans has dropped this series.

Rosalia, thanks for the new chapter.  This manga is definitely well written and quite addicting.  I'm enjoying the main characters quite a bit, especially the main two, and really looking forward to more of it.  Keep up the great work (as well as the other great manga you scanlate for us).

Loved the anime.  Instant follow.

Roselia, thanks for the new chapter.  I'm really enjoying this manga.  It definitely has an original plot and premise, and interesting characters.  Looking forward to the continuation.

You should watch the anime, It's pretty good imo.

Glad to see this one updating.

Sloth and reading.

My kind of guy.

Hmm ... this continues to be a pretty good adaptation of the novels.

Thanks for the release. :)

niceee

This is a really nice and entertaining manga.  I was looking on batoto for something to read, and noticed that both Renzokusei and Roselia had worked on it, and that was enough of a recommendation for me.  A definite follow.  I'm just hoping that some more chapters for us leechers to enjoy comes down the pike!

Is it going to finish the same as the anime, or the manga will continue after reaches the last point in the anime?

where i live, 4 officially translated tankobons are out already, wouldn't it be easier for you guys to use those instead of translating from the raws?
(sure every here and there something gets lost in translation but that shouldn't be a problem for those who've seen the anime, since the manga is literally following the exact same story line.)

It's been 6 months, were at a stand still. Were looking for translators to help with the project, please contact us at http://www.roseliascans.com/ if your interested. Thank you!
