I think this Manga could stand to Calm the Fuck Down like seriously. Take a Chill Pill Man. Slow it down. Relax.
Pages 6 and 7 of chapter 3 are untranslated.
It's hard to make the beginning of these type of stories make sense but I don't care. Once the heroine got to the world of Houshin Engi the story really picked up. Though I loved how her mom has that huge otaku level collection of books at the beginning XD.
Definitely going to follow this story. The comedy in it is good so far.

Must... not... compare this unfavorably to Fujisaki's Houshin Engi...
In the original text it was mentioned that Taikoubou fished with a straight hook, without bait and furthermore three feet above the water. When his neighbours asked him why, he replied that "What I'm angling is not a single fish, but the king and the great many vassals. Only those who really wish to go on the hook will be fished by me." Of course, in this adaptation, if it was three feet above the water, she wouldn't have been able to grab the line, so some leeway is given here.

I really love Houshin Engi from Ryu Fujisaki, so seeing this one somehow really exciting :') Finally something related to Houshin Engi! The girl starts off quite interesting too!
Lel Taikoubou from this one won't lose with Youzen in terms of appearance (as bishounen)

Akso, anyone else notice that he's not using a hook or bait to fish?
Sometimes Batoto has trouble connecting recently uploaded files in to the javascript viewer, so you end up with pages that don't load properly. I'm not sure exactly what's going wrong (like if its a format issue, script error, or that the manga update posts before the upload is finished), but just give it up to 24 hours to fix itself.
