When Shirayuki Ai, the girl wearing glasses, spoke out, a considerable period of time has passed so it's difficult to prove it.
Houjou isn't a policeman nor a lawyer, to begin with, so there was no way for him to do anything. All he could do was to prove that Karen stole Hikari's manga.
People who were involved in the rape were so many, and if they were to be questioned about it by the police, they would just deny it.
What disappoints me is that the manga was too fast, and it didn't show us how much heartbroken Hikari was...
Well...let me say...Im quite disappointed on just how quick it ends and many loopholes it left. It was all good and intense but then the ending come and im just...deflate...all the excitement and bam! ends...wtf

Also, Houjou is a weird character, when Hikari fainted and almost got herelf killed he was concerned about her and salty about the blonde guy(that we never got closure on?) so was that scene even necessary to begin with? His reactions from both incidents are drastically different. I like the mangaka's work but after finishing the story, I feel a little let down... ;/
This happens pretty frequently in manga, and it's always really dumb and terrible.

F*** this, I'm going to wait for the manga to end before I read any further.
It's pure torture. I want it to end positively, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.
I'm going to keep trying to stick through this, but I'm not going to lie, that was really hard for me to stomach. Rape is a really hard thing for me to see in any work, and I hope this manga can justify using it.
Wow, I'm impressed by how much this manga has made me care about the characters. I think this is the first time I've ever wanted to truly kill a character in a manga before. Based on the name I can only hope that the karma hammer drops hard on every single person that actively helped in raping Hikari with the exception of Shirayuki.

Many characters in this manga are just nothing but psychos... In normal life, we don't usually come across with this much of psychos...
Does this happen in a professional setting or is this really over exaggerated? If this is real life, I wouldn't even want to leave my house anymore. This is some SHIT I don't want to deal with anymore...

In order to learn how to draw shoujo manga one must live the life of a shoujo character, ridiculous romantic misunderstandings included.
Whoever makes conclusions based on such vague events deserves to get their hearts broken. I got two words: They dumb.
Actually I see where the teacher was coming from - she saw two pages, one with a student being beaten up and one with a student being bullied. She had no reason to come to the conclusion that those two pages were set-up for happier endings, instead it looked to her like Hikari was drawing horrible things happening to her classmates out of spite.
Where she failed was not in jumping to that conclusion but rather in that she didn't listen to Hikari's explanation.

It's not just that she isn't encouraging her, she totally doesn't grasp her job as a grade school teacher. She should try to keep the class together not dis the little girl that's usually all by herself in front of the whole class. I mean who is hurting who's feelings by stepping into a situation they have no clue about and ripping someone hard work to pieces.
