That tends to happen though. A friend of the main guy going after the main girl because in reality he's a shitty friend.
HHHMMMM!!! This boy, why he do this?!?!? Does he or doesn't he? I'm as confused as Uka-chan right now about Kai's feelings... Like.... DO YA OR DON'T CHA?
I like the blackhair guy tho. No homo
Could be. The question is, will it be a serious attempt, or will it be one of those "You're unworthy, you'll just hurt him . . . oh, wait, you're sweet and innocent and serious about him, I guess it's OK."
I have a feeling the blackhaired guy who's friends with the main guy is gonna try and get inbetween them.
dang the male mc still prettier than any of the girls in this manga lmao
It was such a happy chapter beginning.. Where did it go wrong??? >_<
Well this is serialized in Ribon which doesn't really delve into super mature topics because it caters to younger younger girls. That said, there's some development happening in the latest chapter which might get somewhere. Still, Kai is not a bad person at heart.
Uka starts out socially inept, but she gets better. I actually find her much better than most shoujo heroines because she takes initiative and grows. She isn't immature nor does she cry dramatically over stupid petty drama.
If it is, indeed, the case that blond boy isn't a D.H., then the mangaka should not have portrayed him as such right off the bat. But that's neither here not there, it's the stupidness of the idiot girl that turned me off. I can usually put up with most MCs in shoujo stories that are jerks (well, ya got to since most are, otherwise there'd be hardly anything to read), but mangakas portraying women as ridiculously, obliviously dumb just gets annoyingly offensive.

I get that you're wary about that kind of rage-inducing BS, and that's fair enough, me too, but as PLG said, this isn't it.
The author's touch is 80% sparkles, 20% lip service to traditional shoujo manga drama tropes. The blonde, wild-looking "bad boy" is quick to show that's he's just sweetheart-in-leather-pants. He doesn't even bark, much less bite -- in fact, he mostly tries to help the awkward, scared little animal who took a liking to him get some confidence in herself (a bit clumsily; he's fifteen). Check out their other work Nagareboshi Lens, which has many more chapters translated, for evidence of a very similar take.
Murata Mayu just has a very 14-year-old middle school girl version of a "cool guy" in mind when she's drawing these things for some reason. lol.
Same here. I got as far as the idiot girl thinking to herself, in chapter 1, "Miura is cool as well today" despite the fact that he intentionally shook up carbonated soda (like an freaking idiot) and sprayed her with it and then only reluctantly (and insincerely) apologized after he was told to do so. Yeah. Way cool. That's enough to turn me off. Don't need to read another series about an idiot girl falling for a jerk of a guy.

tired giving this a go but it's not for me
Oh, hey, just realized this is by the same person as Nagareboshi Lens . . . which stuck in my mind for dialling all the sweet and vanilla shoujo things up to 11 and all the conflict down to 2 or so. I guess that's her style.
Yup, tropes aren't bad in and of themselves, it's how they're used.
...That said, I wasn't aware that hanging out with bishounen delinquents could cause spontaneous featherpocalyptic angelification. Or maybe it's something in that honey-lemon soda...
This looks like an example of what I like to say about shoujo: You can use all the cliches and it will work fine if it's got heart.
Awww that last chapter was cute and I liked that play on her nickname he made. It's kind of sweet how the story reminds you that something simple like calling out to someone or saying a few kind words might not seem like much to us but can be what makes someone's day.
Hm? Really? ◊ ^ ◊ Could I try them out!!
You did a great job. Keep it going ^.^ Thanks for the chapter.
I have ebook raws for V.1-2 if you guys want them? Might be better to clean with
It looked fine to me! Thanks for your hard work!
Well, welcome to scanlation world. Just ignore and let those ungrateful brats being not appreciated in their own life too.
I can only clean, not redraw. So some parts probably won't be cleaned that good, but at least you can read it, right?
Ahhh... Sorry, hearing something like this just makes it a bit depressing for me, since I tried my best in doing this.
LOL true, it is good for the guy to offer help. I just find it disappointing, though a tad amusing, when a girl who is supposed to have become strong still waits around and cries out the guys name whenever she gets in a tough spot which somehow works like a instasummon and bam he's there to the rescue. Props to the guy and all, but for the girl I'm like "I don't expect you to change into some super ninja but at least tell off people and walk down the stairs properly yourself!" Still not like I don't enjoy a rescue now and then, I'd just like to see the some self-rescues thrown in here and there.
I really like the contrast between the two posts below haha
