So ambivalent about this chapter.  In plot terms there is nothing even vaguely resembling a cliffhanger here.  In emotional terms, the tension is sooo high for me!

eh you're not wrong. It just seems to me like everyone, including herself, is blaming her for the whole thing and hardly paying any attention to Riki's part in it.

Though that might be because of our perspective. We have almost no scenes with Riki without Shuri. So we have to decide if he taking any blame isn't shown to us or isn't happening at all (though he got a nice slap to the face by aunty).

The only thing I sincerely hope for is that he won't get back together with Shuri ("because he's so pitiful"...bullshit...he's a psycho -.-) and he fully understands just how much he hurt and scared her. Her being strong enough to bear her past isn't same as it being okay and all.

Well...she is at fault too even though her part is tremendously smaller than Riki's.

eerrgh... this series is SO frustrating... the first half of ch 28 i wanted to pull out my hair, the mangaka's hair, Riki's hair, and those other two ladies' hair T_T just why... and she's blaming herself? wtheck??

but UGH, Shuri & Youta are so cute!

how to feel??

So why do I feel like they'll get hit by car, forced to break and then Youta gets kidnapped while Shouri is unconscious with a bleeding wound on her head! -.-

(maybe I'm a little too pessimistic...)

Lets hope nothing bad happens ...

Can't stand the tension!

Heh.  Good ol' Evil Flowers, they slow down, but they never really abandon a project--they always seem to come through eventually.

*Crosses fingers* Please stay with Youta forever, that's all I ask~
Yay, update!
The relationships in this manga are so well done. It's a breath of fresh air after all the trite, cheesy drama-fests you get in other shoujo. I think this is probably one of my favorite shoujo, actually, if not one of my favorite manga overall.
Thanks for the update! Also there was another update of Deep Clear, which some people might not have noticed is a side story of Honey Bitter.

OK, early in Ch 20

Yay, an update. This has been one of my longtime favorites, if for no other reason than the fact that it examines complex issues from multiple perspectives. No "there's only one way for you to handle this situation" crap.
Huzzah! Thanks for the update Evil Flowers!
This is pretty good. It has a nice balance between plot, romance, a bit of angst . . . the characterization is pretty decent, and the whole thing kept me reading.
