Pretty good read. Only thing I would disagree on is the blame put on benihime for that dude going insane or whatever. She shouldn't be obligated to return his feelings and he should be held accountable for his actions. The entitled little shit betrayed his lord and cut off the girl's head just because she rejected him. That's all on him.

It's that she (and her father) treated him like he was nothing. She's not obligated to return his feelings, but she could have been a lot more considerate in how she rejected him.

This is the first time I have ever had so much trouble telling characters apart in a manga. Normally, if a style is used so strongly that the characters appear very similar, their personalities would set them apart. That approach did not help me here. Even with all that, it was still a decent read.
