I must've been the only one who didn't like Last Game. The male lead was pathetic. The female lead was callous. The story weaved in and out of emotional sadomasochism and a separate love story with a more proactive man (whom is wholly unnecessary since we know he'll be rejected, but let's let him form a deeply intimate emotional and somewhat physical relationship with the female lead anyways). It just felt excessive. You could read the first chapter and then the last without skipping a beat.

 

I can assure you you're not the only one that didn't like it but why are you mentioning that here, rather than, for instance, the comments section of the manga in question? Even if it's the same author...

 

As for this one, I can't really say much other than that the way the author constantly flips between the vampire acting like a not-exactly-sexual predator and acting like a sympathetic character just for the hell of it (I mean, obviously it's supposed to create tension and maybe some comedy, but the whole thing just feels so artificial) is actually sort of sickening.

 

I think this one may not be my cup of tea--best of luck to the rest of ya.
