Maybe they want to do Hito kui origin instead? From what I've read, origin and this webcomic is basically the same. Origin is not finished yet though, so that maybe why.

It is a webcomic. Beware that the art polish level is similar to One Punch Man. But the story is good. (Different feels and pacing than this Hito Kui though)
I don't know why the scanlation team didn't do this version first, oh well.

The thing with this series is that it's a side-story for the original Hito Kui. If you don't read the original story this will feel somehow incomplete. Better to start reading the original one!
