Ah, but, in your defense, baroner, it seems Nirimetus did overlooked the fact that this chapter is captioned with: Chapter One PART ONE, so maybe really we're supposed to read all the parts of chapter 1 consecutively, which kinda explain why it ends so abruptly.

Indeed I did overlooked that part, I am not sure either if it was part 1 when i read tho, but yes, and as I said, I will keep on the look to see how this one goes, if it turn out to be interesting I will follow and keep reading.

On a side not, that first page in the second chapter is freaking funny. LOL

I forgot to add that many authors do divide chapters in part, but that doesn't mean they will leave the parts in a weird cliff hanger like this one did.

Why were the cities labeled by a letter if they show us distinct landmarks making the cities identifiable? Why is it the year 20XX instead of "in the near future?" Why were the Twin Towers still standing?

My suspension of disbelief can't hold this much wrongness of geological physics.

How about you try making a manga and see how hard it is before being so dang judgemental and maybe learn to find joy in your life instead of just bashing a manga base on its first chapter.

I think we would get smashed into pieces with all of the other things on earth crust due to the 'negative' acceleration and then thrown a few kilometers into the air until the gravity would do it's work pulling all that rubble back. 

If Earth stopped spinning suddenly (even to restart just after), I don't think climate would be the first of your worry.

The reason is the way the 1st chapter finished so abruptly that I only felt like I was hanging naked in the streets after being checked by the police (not that wouldn't happen here where I live tho lol).

 

I will wait for the next chapters to see if it will finish like the first, if yes, then I will drop it for sure.

 

Again, I am not diminishing the scanlation group work, I'm just disappointed at the way this author is working.
