So sad this was dropped. I could never get enough of Aki-sensei's works.

This finish is horrible. ._.
I understand the desire to explain a few things, but the main character is not Rokka ?
If so why not show how it ended he had only one chapter in the most...

I don't know how to feel about this. It's beautiful, it's well told, it's engaging, I love Aki with all my heart, but...

I'm really trying to think that the ending is the way it is because everything gets explained and then it's up to your imagination to fill in the blanks, but then again the mystery that has been solved isn't enough! SO MANY MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT THIS!

Wow, I really liked this, but with its ending, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It ends abruptly with no closure, just mid-story.

Thank you for sharing it anyway, AQUA Scans.

Kusanari is "afraid of being forgiven"? What's the chances there was an accident and as a result his mother's face was disfigured or something?

And seeing that shift in Roka's attitude between chapters...how many years have gone by o.o"?

The art is lovely <3

Are you perhaps a prophet?

!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF, really? This has to be one of the worst axes I've ever seen.

My first thought was that our copy was defective and it was missing the last pages, but I spoke to a friend who also bought it and she told me her copy was exactly the same. D:

Not even an "owari/ending" or a "to be continued" or in hiatus or even the usual "Thanks for supporting the author and look forward to her next work" -- Absolutely nothing! And then the Haruca website did say it was the last chapter. :(

Axed?

Err… what? It stops just like that, in the middle of a flash-back, without any conclusion? Not even a "the end"? Even if it's the last chapter, aren't there pages missing or something? ò.Ô Because as it is, it feels like the editor came in with a big axe and smashed the workboard while the author was drawing the chapter…

I am just as confused as you are guys.

This was on volume 9 of the Haruca, which by the way will be the last Haruca ever. Many of the projects the Haruca was publishing were moved to other magazines, but according to the website of the Haruca, this is the last chapter of Higan no Ishi, that’s it, no more story.

I was actually kinda hoping that if we waited enough there would be some news about Aki moving her story to other magazine but seems that it won’t be the case.

I was frankly hoping a lot more of this story.

The feels in chapter 4 :'(

Yeah after the latest chapter it seems more like a mental illness than simply not bothering to remember what they look like...

Yea I have a feeling that it is indeed an illness. It reminds me of my middle school teacher, she had an illness where it was hard sometimes to difrentiate peoples faces. I thought it was pretty scary trying to imagine what people looked like in her eyes. but she seemed fine with it. I thought she was cool. @_@

Can't say for sure but whatever the reason is, it's pretty serious if he can't even recognize him own mother.

Sooo....are we safe to assume Kusunari's gay?

That's putting it a bit harsh. All he's done so far is grant wishes -and that's just a part of who he is.

I agree. Calling him a 'definite real jerk' is on the extreme side since he wasn't 'a jerk' at all imo in the first chapter. He just seems to have grown bitter from his experience in ch 1 and influence from the crow.

"...protagonist is definitely a real jerk."

Well I read it for the cover art. Hm... not sure if this is interesting or not but the protagonist is definitely a real jerk.

Thank you very much AQUA Scans!

This is so... Aki's... Beautifully drawn, philosophical...

Olimpos is my most favourite work of her (or his?)!

I really like this so far! And the art is really nice! Thanks for picking this up aqua scans! ^^

Ahh I wonder how that boy...roka? is gonna be living now. I can only hope that it wont be too painful down the road(though I bet it will anyways)

I liked it, the tone of it. The author did well so we can be captivated by the mc's circumstances.
