It would indeed
But Hibiki's violence is 100% reactive so it makes sense that she goes to maximum impact (a chair, the whole come and kill me at the start of the series)
I'm getting bored with this empty violence. Can't she do something with purpose, like break his writing hand or stab his eyes? Would be a fitting eulogy for Batoto.
If other people read this comment, this is no typo, not "borderline psychopath" but this:
Godddammit, Hibiki. While i like the manga, but going by the theme itself something gonna happen to her sooner or later, right? I always get this feeling i should stop reading before things start to crumble... (´・ω・`)
Mary Sue is "perfect"... Hibiki is not.
Edit: I just saw chapter 26. She is like a borderlands psycho.
I don't think it's a good idea to compare literature to sports. To write something great, first, you need to read a lot. And to be able to know, feel, and appreciate the works of masterpiece level, you need some life experience.
A kid can train to be good at sports, or other kinds of arts since they are young.
But that hardly happens in the case of literature.
I really like this manga, where would it be uploaded once Batoto goes down
TFW your team of hardened dudebro twitch game "veterans" gets their asses handed to them by a bunch of 15 year old girls in real world paintball.
This is exactly what she is.
Is it a Mary Sue if she is only good at one thing?
From my experience, many writers have very big ego, much bigger than their writing ability. They tend to think that their works are the best, or at least more special than others. I used to think like that too, especially after one of my short story reach the finalist of an award and got published. But 2-3 years after that, I keep losing so now I know my place and know that I still have much to improve.
Still, there are some guys that keep losing like me but refuse to admit their defeat. They blame the judges, believe that their works are better than the one that won the award. Some are even worse than that, they don't dare to participate in any awards anymore but still speak to anyone like they are great writers.
...
As an aspiring writer, this manga really relate to me. I think it really show how the literature world is.
The only thing that is unreal is Hibiki. There is no genius like her in the literature world of my country, at least for the recent 30 years that is.
Haha, that guy is like super arrogant, to the point of stupidity. It made me laugh at how all of the major authors slightly criticized his work, but when Hibiki appeared, gave her accolades and treated her like she was 'one of them'; then her blowing Tanaka off after shaking everyone else's hand. That's why I can't get enough of her character, despite her.... lack of tact =0>. It's going to be even better once Sobue arrives and practically craps on Tanaka's work(like he subtly did when commenting about Kijima's work last chapter), then proceed to do the exact opposite for Hibiki.
Thanks for coming back to this series! We appreciate you bringing this last chapter before the end =03!
I haven't touched this in a few months huh. Sorry about that. As for batoto dying, uhhh, I'll think of something. Either in the form of a wordpress thing or just some random dl links.
EDIT: I’m gonna try a very barebones system where I stick some dl links on a text file that updates every time a new chapter comes out and put a throwaway email just in case those links die. Lemme know if that sounds okay.
There we go.
An autistic Mary Sue. Move over Rey, tumblr has found its new champion.
I really like Yoshino story in ch21.
I like that side couple romance. That girl seems to be the only person in the story who isn't completely insane.
Dunno why, but on a first impression Yoshino makes me think: "she knows how to play classic guitar", and I'm expecting the author to give me a reason to believe it.
Holy fuck she is too autistic to live in the real world. Also this is creepy as shit. http://img4.bato.to/comics/2017/07/27/h/read5979e219e6626/img000017.png
Jeebus christ Hibiki might be autistic like legit. Love the manga though.
Everyone hating on Ryouta, but I think he's okay - like John Wick; a man of focus, commitment and sheer will.
That's what I've been thinking: actually the creepy part is the number of photos on his walls. Given some of the things he's said and Fumi's thoughts after reading something he wrote, I'd say he has a fixation on normality (obviously an atypical thing). Actually, I don't really know what his reaction will be.
About his mother, I'm guessing she's half used to it and half gave up. My guess is that she hasn't seen any other abnormalities, so she's less worried about it than she would be.
I'm just glad Hibiki is the main character, so we know things won't ultimately go his way. It's gonna be an interesting ride.
Guess my novelist theory is busted D0=.
But is Ryouta really a creep? I mean, if he's been taking pictures since she was 8 years old(so reflectively he was 8 as well), or possibly younger, I don't think it was anything malicious or perverted yandere, especially since Hibiki already knows about it.
I find it more strange that his mother kinda blows it off, 'in a way'. I say 'in a way' because I'm not sure what her initial reactions were; she, like Hibiki, may have just gotten used to it all.
CALLED IT! xD
