Here Comes the Bullied Kid!

This author...is not very capable (see past works). In fact, i'd say he's the Uwe Boll of manga.

Just throw out a bunch of buzzwords and sees what sticks seems to be the order of the day. 

His art is pretty nice, though, even in it's simplicity. Some of it kind of gives me a bit of an Akira Toriyama vibe, especially in his animal/creature designs in stuff like Citizen Ogre or the Harta Cover Story he did.

I just wish he'd do more stuff like Memoirs of a Dancer in terms of writing.
Or, hell, the world of Citizen Ogre seemed pretty interesting, even if the story in it seemed a bit lacking and anticlimactic. I'd totally read a full series based on it. Honestly, I do wish he'd get a chance to do something other than a one-shot. Even if he didn't write it but just handled the art, it'd be nice to see a longer series from him.

It seems to me the kid likes to be bullied. I mean he was wearing a black t-shirt that said "hate on me"

the bully corruption aspect is likely the correct theme. notice the smiles when the 2 dudes are retaliating against the original bully - they have enjoyed it, and even wear black shirts the next day, same as the original bully. the girl is the new target because she did not partake in yesterday's bullying. spooky stuff

How I see it is this kid being a portrayal of those typical sad people who live their entire lives as a victim. Rather than actually being victimized, they seek their attention by acting like someone who's being belittled, bullied, ignored, etc. corrupting whoever gets in their way in the process.
Most people do this unconsciously, but our antagonist(?) here seems to be well aware of the damage he's causing. In fact, he's actively going out of his way to turn people into bullies and consequently bad people. He did it that first group of kids, even turning them against one another, and he's about to do it to that next group as well.

As for an even deeper meaning... It's still a gag comedy manga, so don't think TOO much about it, just enjoy and have a good laugh.
