AHHH that fork has got to be an Evangelion reference isn't it???
not far off, actually. part of their gags are japanese puns, but most of the time Nichijou's just off-the-charts wtf-level random
I love Nichijou (and I can tell this was its predecessor), but I didn't get most of it. I have a feeling that a lot was lost in translation or relies heavily on Japanese cultural norms that I simply don't get as an American.
"Half of Bufferin is made of kindness" is a pretty old catchphrase.
