I agree, something of that sort would be handy, though likely not just for the purpose you've got in mind.
That said, no one forced you to read anything. Please don't say such nonsensical things, especially since there are many that love this stuff.
It's hard to find decent materials of this special genre, so do try to avoid hurting the feelings of those that worked to create such things, as well as those that admire their efforts.
