Cute, sweet love story. It's quite slow-paced, which may not appeal to some readers.
Well, it seems like triangularity is setting in gradually, taking over more and more of the story. It's still a good manga but . . . dang!
the story is very sweet. I like it. :)
@Aedra: you would get more recommendations if you go to "comic finder" and make a new topic.

also maybe you would like Tenshi ja Nai!!
Most welcome, both of you. I read far too much romance manga . . .
I'm actually having trouble reading this manga. Perhaps because of the pace. It doesn't have enough 'oomph'
Yet, it's pretty relaxing, and the relationship hurdles that made blown out of proportion in other shoujos are toned down here (jealousy etc)
It's basically a slow, peaceful ride. But it definitely is an eye opener after reading stories like Good Ending.
@Purple Library Guy Hey I only recognized Kare Kano and W Juliet. I'll check those other titles. Thanks!

Dear god, you really nailed "Kare Kano" and "H3" lol. Completely agree. Ta for the list, allready read everything by Motomoi-sensei, i 'll be sure to check the others you mentioned. Many thanks.
Well . . . no. But there are some other very good manga where the romantic leads get together early on and never have a lot of doubts that the other is who they want. Lessee, there's Kare Kano; it's one of the classics and very good--but the superficially-perfect male lead has a lot of bad psychological/family problems they have to work through. There's "H3", Happy Hustle High, which is a lot of fun for something with a title that horrible. The two main characters are pretty close from early on. There's Beast Master, which is by Motomi Kyousuke so of course it's good; the main couple generally treat each other very well. If you don't mind a bit of yuri, there's Chatting at the Amber Teahouse, which is very sweet and positive, and Hanjuku Joshi, which is sweet, positive, the two romantic leads treat each other very well, but also rather sexy so be warned. W-Juliet sees the two leads commit to each other early, and is well done, but much of the plot revolves around keeping the male lead's identity as a male secret because he's been forced to cross-dress for ridiculous reasons; both leads are also kick-ass martial artists with a passion for acting. Finally, there's Monkey High, which is a lovely little manga where, again, the two leads get together early and stay pretty solid most of the time, and it's got some good comedy and good emotion.
So yeah, that's the list off the top of my head of manga that are: Romance, well done, and the main couple get together early, stick together well, and generally treat each other positively and are good for each other.
And can anyone recommend me another one similar to this one, in the way that the story is portrayed? Artwork will not matter.
Just started and It's certainly refreshing to read a shoujo where a couple threats each other with respect/understanding, w/o the whole "you are not worthy to gaze upon the cute me" followed by "threat like garbage, but soon to see as a human being garbage" phase.
I have to agree, I mean on the first chapter they cleared some gigantic hurdles that on normal shoujos/shonen would take about 300 chapters..
a simple yet so difficult thing, talk to your partner about what you didn't like!!

Simply loved..
This manga is kind of different. It's like the mangaka said to herself, "OK, I want to do a romance and skip all the usual stuff, just strip it down. No long period of wondering if the other person is interested. No pursuit. No triangle. No indecision. No fears of incest. No gajillionaires. No broken homes. No bullying the person you like. Just the bare essentials, a couple of kids falling in love and trying to be good to each other. Could I still keep it interesting?"
For me, the answer is yes. Good stuff. Quiet, but well worth the read.
(It's not strictly true that there's no triangle at all, but it's really marginal)
