The idea is good but I think its.... something about how its being delivered is just really awkward...
I got excited when he said what I was hoping for, that he's going out to look for his friends. I love series that incorporate recruiting new members to the group, to see a series start with one character and grow from there is always enjoyable to me. However I read that this series died at just 2 volumes, man sounds like this series didn't even get to take its first breath. Shame, it at least looked interesting

You probably mean 'Shade - The Other Side of Light'. A manga which got cancelled just like this one.

Very similar to chronos deep, I actually thought this is chronos deep so I was surprise to see only 1 chapter.
Edit: Well after I read this, it's a bit different in terms of ambient and style.
Thoroughly generic, could get interesting, most likely will fall flat. Waiting and seeing.

Much less angsty than it sounds. (at least for now)
So this is a kinda like a FMA and D Gray Man combination.
