Description: Sakura Aki is a penniless high schooler who likes to cook and does other "unmanly" things. His grandfather and father are disciplinary on gender roles and beat up Aki everytime he does a thing that women would usually do, like cleaning. When his father leaves him absolutely broke, and with his grandfather realizing Aki's "unmanly" flaws, he sends him to live at one of the dorms at an all girls' school that he runs, a school where distinguished young ladies of the country attend, the Hanayashiki - Flower Estate-, to teach him a lesson.

He meets Kitahiro Renge, a girl with un-ladylike manners and a meat loving obsession. An encounter that's going to save Aki Sakura or just another problem in sight?!

It was all going great until ... the ending

so lackluster, nothing was solved

what the hell

oh well at least it was enjoyable

All the dislike for this manga in the comments here has made me steer clear of it for months and months now. I think I'm gonna just actually give it a try for a change today.

Crazy girl not hot enough to be worth it. MC is wasting his time and deserves any bad end he gets. This manga is bad and I feel bad for reading it.

Spoiler

And axe did it again. :|

Meh. Unsatisfying ending. It didn't show me what I really wanted to see

Spoiler

I've seen worse, but I've seen better so I probably gonna forget about this manga soon enough what is shame beacuse the art is great.

gross

I don't like the ending pair, but that's just my preferences. I really like the twist from ending tho, pretty refreshing. Reminds me of some charas from Oniisama e and Punpun in terms

Spoiler

this is kinda like that and I pretty much like it, refreshing  :)

These kids need a psychologist.  Renge is accomplishing the impossible at this point and I'm happy for her, but I don't think it's enough.  I'm sad for these kids, but elated at what little progress they've made.

From what I've seen in a documentary some time ago on youtube, Japanese culture rejects psychological interventions much in the same way Christians feel Jesus/God will improve their mental health.

Well, I see your point. On the other hand, I'm not convinced that the North American medicalization of psychology is healthy either. Or that psychologists are always much use.

I actually found the ending fairly satisfying.

Emo manga till the very end. Still reasonably good though.

Yea it seems Aki is aware of it at least so the ending is pretty muh hinting that there'll be a sort of recovery process but how it ends up we will never know.

Hmm.. after the ending I feel like encounters with people like Renge and Aki aren't just strong enough to give resolutions for the twins. Aki-Renge are a good temporary relief for the twin, but their personality aren't even deep enough to touch the base of the twin's withdrawals. As a result, the twins could only try to adapt to Aki-Renge bright lives, while their actual issues always stay buried within, maybe one day explodes unexpectedly. Oh well, Aki's the MC, and all's good for him, then the manga has served his purpose.

Is it just me or did renge end up with kakitsubata as lovers?  that didnt come out quite clearly for me

I like that the usual "first girl wins" is not applicable to this manga. I like Ayame, complicated psychotic bitch, who can thrash pervert, cut herself and shave her head, basically get all denpa yet still stay my favorite character. P.S. by the end of it Kakitsubata became more stable than Ayame, which makes me question myself: who is more dangerous among them.
Eh, well, it wasn't much of an ending. Still... 215dLbt.png Ayame, you made this manga!

Uhhhh...I'm really not pleased by the ending :(

What an awful ending.

From what I've seen in a documentary some time ago on youtube, Japanese culture rejects psychological interventions much in the same way Christians feel Jesus/God will improve their mental health.  Mental disorders are a family's problem.  Your parents and siblings handle your mental illnesses.  A lot of people don't believe in psychotherapy as is.  Once you seek it out, you're immediately branded as 'damaged goods'.  Therefore, I can easily see the hesitation to seek out, or in this case, blatant omission of trained adults, or counselors that can nurture and protect them at the private school.  Who the heck runs that place anyway?!  The senior?  She dgaf. I haven't this many emotions for a shonen since AoT.

I have a bad feeling about this..

Don't come yet mr. Axe!

Thanks for the new chapter.

And here we go people!

The plot just flowed in ~

And now we wait...

Brace yourself, the end is naught and near...

Just hope it's not too cliche` and lame... like the billionaire girl

Is this going to be completed someday? I sure hope so.

This became a much better manga than the initial chapters led me to believe.  One thing I am really holding out for...  I want that brother to find himself again.  Abuse at home, at an early age, can really destroy someone.  It can make them afraid beyond reason, of things that don't even make sense.  Long afterwards, seemingly stupid and irrelevant things can set off that fear.  When a parent stops being someone you can always turn to, and becomes someone who you live in fear of, then you truly live in a world of fear, where there is nowhere to turn.  In that way, I completely understand where the brother is coming from, but I don't think the people around him really understand it.  It is a long and difficult road to recovery from where he is, and no one seems to understand that, least of all himself.

I don't expect this in the least, especially not from a manga, but it would be nice if they could all sit down and talk to him and show support.  I hope everyone makes it out of this story as a whole and fulfilled human being.

i'm a little scared for renge now because it seems like the twin brother might be aiming for her next. when he starts feeling up ayame i want to throw up tbh

I both like...and dislike this manga.  Mostly...I can understand having characters with bad parents to a certain point...but in the case of Ayame...that household seems like there isn't a single sane individual there...
