I kinda wish Noriyuki and the boyfriend's appearance were reversed, it'd make things more interesting. She'll probably fall for Noriyuki because he'll help widen her world and support her (or something along those lines) but this reason seems diminished when he is also more handsome and "cool". It'd be nice for a change to see the girl drop the handsome and even perhaps nice guy for a guy who's personality and way of thinking truly appeals to her. Then again, that way of thinking might not feed into the fantasy wish fulfillment that this story is trying to appeal itself with, not that I have anything against that.
