The romance when they got together was very one-dimensional and not a lot of interactions between them.
I thought the whole interaction with her past brother and mom was well done but everything else felt dragged.
And Atsurou only ever accepted Niina in the first place was because he found out she WAS chitose.
But they never mention it after he found out and to me it feels like he never loved niina, because it seems like when he looks at niina, all he remembers and sees is chitose's image.
That's ok, but I wish both niina and atsurou would just acknowledge this fact, otherwise they are not on the same page. Niina thinks atsurou loves Her as niina, atsurou thinks he has a second chance with chitose after all these years,
Clearly they are not on the same page here. Each of them are dating the other in their own delusion - niina thinks atsurou finally loves her (niina), atsurou finally can continue his love with chitose.
Sure he might have come to love niina alongside chitose, but nowhere in the manga had he made it clear. And niina never questions him when he first accepted her which is a red light to me.
Niina IS chitose and at the same time she is not. Since she wants to live as niina in the end and move on, I feel the mangaka should clear it up and who atsurou really loves.
If atsurou told niina that he knew she was chitose, I don't think she would mind because she loves him so much. But because she never mentioned it, doesn't it mean she wants atsurou to love her as niina then?
I never got the feeling atsurou ever loved niina before he found out she was really chitose. He even said he can never forget chitose, which is why he rejected her in the first place. And then BAM, when he realizes she was chitose only then does he run after her.
Idk why this point bothers me so much, but it does.
Love this manga and all of it's vanilla but it gets me thinking though. Obviously Niina and Chitose have different styles and aspirations, but do they have the same personality?
To me, Niina seems to resemble Chitose quite a bit even though their appearances are quite different, yet no one seems to note this resemblance. Is it just me who feels like they're the same person, just brought up differently? T:

Lloré la mitad del manga. Los primeros capitulos son por lejos, de los más conmovedores, tristes y felices al mismo tiempo, aunque asumo que todo este revoltijo de emociones de parte mia es meramente por la empatía que me produce el imaginarme en su lugar, sobretodo en lo que respecta a mi relación con mi familia. Son situaciones que uno comienza a cuestionarse... "¿qué pasará con ellos si..:" y así.
Lo que me dejó insatisfecha del manga fue el final:
ADVERTENCIA: NO LEER EN PÚBLICO. ES MUY TRISTE.
De todas formas me gustó mucho el manga, un millón de gracias por traducirlo! ;;^;;
A real sweet and comfy series. Great bedtime shoujo story to read!
I just read this for the first time, and was amazed at how great it was. The characters were all believable and interesting, and the plot was extremely well done. The art was also excellent. Even the tsundere guy was that way, without making me want to hit him every time he showed up. If you like "Love so Life," this earlier manga is a must read.

I looked up my follow list and see that chapter 19 was [end].
After reading this, I can proudly say that I LOVED the ending and it made me so HAPPY!

But even if the ending was a little rushed, and a few threads were kind of sloppily tied up, it's still a sweet story.

At the very end, I had this horrible, horrible thought that Niina/Chitose was going to be reborn AGAIN.

Sometimes I feel like I need to stop reading manga before it all starts to blur.
If the translations are accurate, i can say that he already knows, but at this point, that fact isn't important to him. What's he wants her to know that he loves her unconditionally and not because she was Chitose.
Sweet Vanilla ending, I like it.
