I love how this is basically a harem manga (MC got that childhood friend, the loli that transforms into a hottie, and now an imouto character) but because of the fujobait, fujos don't realize it.

Oh dear. It's been SO long since I last checked this... Had to read everything again from the beginning lol. Glad to see some development in the Tenkou area.
Thank you CoyoMoose for the chapter. This is one of my favourite series.

After finally managing to read through it all, I have to say, a small glossary for this would be wonderful. Like an introductory page thingie. Though I suppose that'd put even more work on the translators ;___; Really, I've read many a fantasy manga with their own terms and names in (pseudo-)Japanese but none have managed to get my feathers this ruffled xD Maybe I've gotten old. /(*o*)\

Still, really like this manga a lot, I haven't got a clue how this is gonna end ^^

I can do that one day - when I'm not working lol. I just finished cleaning 29 so I will start on it tonight.

Thank you for the update, CoyoMoose! We are finally getting some closure.

How confusing are all the names(?) and terms(?) after such a long break? Answer: Very. Guess I should reread this thing :D Not that I mind.

Thanks for the chapter ^^

Haigakura

Edit: Seems this isn't the search box... awkward.

Chapter 26 and 27 need to be swapped around.

Done.

Chapter 26 and 27 need to be swapped around.

Just got caught up on this lovely series. Thanks as always, Coyomoose!

I really love the tension that drips with every interaction between Ichiyou and silver-haired Tenkou. Takayama-sensei is really a master at giving emotion and feeling to her characters!

It lives. Oh, thank you so much CoyoMoose! Haigakura is literally one of my favs.

this update just made my day :D Thanks a lot CoyoMoose!

Can't read this because I don't understand the conversations they're having and it's frustrating.

I think the sentences are badly structured, it probably needs some quality checks

I can understand this without problem, even thought I'm not a native english speaker. Most likely the problem lies with you ( not getting the story)  and not with the translation.

this is literally 99/100. beautiful art, interesting storyline, likeable characters. wonderful.

It's not a matter of quality checking. It's a matter of how I translate - and if you can't think and read at the same time then....well that's a personal problem. It's as dumbed down as it can get. Readers should (hopefully) be able to follow the script without their hands having to be held through it.

Calm your tits.

Woo, action~ : D

Thanks for the chapter!

Thanks for the update :D

Also, knowing Ichiyou's and Shiro's background and story, we know Ichiyou really doesn't like the idea of capturing someone/ a god to make them his servant. So he avoids to use his powers for that purpose, too.
@ Stephanie Cunanan
Tenkou basically explains that Ichiyou can't capture low level spirits and gods because he is too powerful and would kill them with his songs and dance. So all his captured gods are of the really powerful kind, who lived a extremely long life and have great powers.

The story still didn't go in further detail, Ichiyou's super powers and their origin aren't explained yet. We get really little information every chapter so we have to be patient.
http://vatoto.com/read/_/82940/haigakura_v1_ch4_by_coyomoose/25 i don't get this part @.@ ! can someone explain it to me???
Translations are too literal and makes the manga extra confusing sometimes.
It's . . . kinda amazing.
Though a bit confusing, be it the complicated and intricate storyline and setting, or the translation and complex wording, the world it's set in is wondrously creative. Likely, native Japanese could probably understand it a bit better having a better working knowledge of their culture, but a look into Shinto creative license is pretty awesome. The art for this, especially when we see coloured pages like the novel covers, is quite masterful.
The first chapter is admittedly a bore, however, compared to the rest of the story. If you had read the first chapter and were put off by that irrelevant girl that pops up, do not fear! She becomes insignificant, and has yet to appear again! The story wholeheartedly goes to focus on the main characters.
I always love a good manga interlaid with Shinto elements. It's quite exciting.
The pace is fairly quick, and we get a lot of delicious information in each chapter relevant to the plot, which is quite rich.
So, yes. It becomes very good after the first chapter, so get reading, bro!
