Edit: Reduced melodrama in exchange for clarity. Never try to be theatrical while falling asleep.
On another note... where did the shounen ai and mecha tags come from? I have nothing against shounen ai, and in fact think it would be interesting to see in a series about yankees, but there's nothing so far to suggest it. Same with the mecha. While the main antagonists are androids, they aren't mecha.
