Description: | Two guys: cousins, both left-handed, both passionate about becoming their school team's best pitcher. One of them has already lost the spot once, back in elementary school; and his cousin moved away not long after, seemingly clueless to the fact that he was leaving the guy who introduced him to baseball dispirited and defeated. But now Yoshizawa Sora is back, still smiling innocently while encouraging Yoshizawa Shuuji to get back into the game. Shuuji accepts, determined to defeat the guy who, in his eyes, took away the only thing that mattered to him. |

Thanks for the new chapter o((*^▽^*))o !
You're welcome!
Thanks for picking this up, anon!
Would be kinda nice if some group were to pick this up over time
How did I miss this as Kawashita Mizuki's fan (though here she uses her shoujo/josei pen name, Mikan Momokuri) mmm...
Nice work as always, even though it's still very shounen esque mmm...~!
As of chapter one, the manga is showing great potential. First of all, the art is magnificent, extremely clean and the colored drawings with clouds are utterly beautiful. The backgrounds are well detailed and it's easy to read.
The story seems pretty standard at first, but it quickly starts showing off its potential through a story of rivalry, born from hate, despair and trauma. The protagonist quickly snaps and recovers, turning from a plain protago to someone else, someone with potential who has gotten back a goal.
Two characters are shown with great traits and backgrounds, two others not being anything special, except maybe for the sister, being in the same year as her brother.
Although a Josei, the style is really close to a shounen, but nothing sporty was shown, but it has yet to be, so I don't know in what direction it will end up going, and for how long it might run, but for sure, it's going to be a pleasant read.
While I was reading this, I was reminded of Sora no Seibun, a series I read many years ago, from the way the mangaka drew Sora...and now I find out that they're both by the same mangaka o.o The art improvement is amazing. (I know drawing for that long should have some improvement, but usually the art style is still somewhat recognizable.) Hello new fav art style to stare at.
Edit: I started re-reading Sora no Seibun and there are a lot more similarities that I had forgotten. Nice to know that my taste in story hasn't changed lol.
I don't know how to feel about this new work from Mizuki-sensei. I forgot that this is aimed towards older female readers though.
Maybe they'll both be jerks? It looks that way to me right now. I hope that's the case, because it'll be more realistic and more interesting that way. And there's even a good chance of it given this is not shounen.
Curious as to who's gonna be the actual jerk going forward...
