These stories take place in Japan and in the West, in the past and in the present. They may involve a romance in the city, an energizing walk in the forest, the daily mundane life of a waitress working in a café, or a medieval intrigue; but what connects these stories are the powerful messages they deliver. |

Thanks again Lovely Strange Dark for finishing this up for us all to read! It was all really fantastic.
Thank you so much for translating everything; a beautiful collection of stories with art just as beautiful. Definitely something I'll come back to many times in the future.
time to read them all in order again
Oenothera Princess as a whole felt a bit rushed and forced even whilst still being beautiful.
But that last chapter was wonderful. And the afterstories!
The entire thing was beautiful, massive thanks to the translators for bringing this to us!
Well, Thrush has "the eyes" also known as "sexy male lead gets the girl eyes" so I am going to hope that Part 3 does some major character development for him because all signs point to them getting together SOMEHOW. Especially those eyes. Jin and Makoto both have it in Ran to Haiiro no Sekai so....yeah.
Oenothera Princess? More like Sundrop's Stockholm Syndrome.
Finding it difficult to sympathize with Trush. The bait and switch of his bandit lord status helps, but it would be nice if he was less (unintentionally?) rapey. 'You have nowhere else to go' does not help, son.
Sundrop tho. Hnnngh. Even the name is gorgeous.
Harta doesn't have a decent website, so it's pretty awful finding info on series in there.
Her new series has been serializing for over a year, so by all rights a tank should be coming out soon. Once that hits, a group will probably pick it up Naturally LSD is interested in it (I love Irie Aki), but odds are another group will pick it up quickly.
lol @ that meaningless summary. The pic looks nice though, I hope someone can pick it up.
She's working on this series: https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=131124
Kinda curious what Irie Akie is up to right now.
Anyway thanks for the update Lovely Strange Dark scans
Well she formatted Ran to Haiiro no Sekai a bit like a bunch of shorter stories drawn together except for the last/main arc. I'd say shorter stories are definitely her most comfortable format due to this but if she continues longer stories I expect to be impressed there as well.
This book is one of the best manga I have ever read. The art, pace and stories are all perfect. Her short stories are superb that I sometimes think that the author is not fit for longer series.
Was it just me or was the Old Elm chapter especially well-drawn? The story itself was a bit abrupt though.
It occurs to me that while that's true, it's sorta locking the barn door after the horses are stolen.
We'll be doing it after we finish Gunjou
Thanks for the release LSD. I was wondering... wouldn't you take Kodama no Tani? It'd be great :-)
feelings overload
Yes, and young children can be an effective form of birth-control (but frustrating).
"And so it came to pass" doesn't actually give any information to someone who hasn't read it.
I'm generally pretty careful to phrase my commentary on current chapters in vague terms.
Indeed. Ursula is wonderful, I like her energy and attitude a lot.
Such a lovely family!
Yes.... Yes, that is just how it is when you have kids.
